Kontena partners with Dataloop for effortless native monitoring of containers & microservices

Kontena announces partnership with Dataloop to drive container adoption in the enterprise.

When we met the Dataloop team for the first time early last Summer, we became instantly intrigued by their unique approach to effortless microservices and containers monitoring that makes developers’ and DevOps’ lives easier. Getting up and running with monitoring in less than four minutes? That sounds very much like the mission we at Kontena are on as well, when it comes to container management! Our later encounters with David & team, made it further clear that we should partner up and provide off-the-shelf and supported integration so that our mutual users can get going even faster and with minimal effort.

Today, Kontena generated and collected stats can be streamed from Kontena nodes to Dataloop in a couple of different ways; either directly from Kontena nodes using StasD protocol, or by having Kontena deploy Dataloop Agent to the nodes, which is the recommended method. We are also working on creating Kontena Pack for Dataloop to make getting going even easier.

In our view, Dataloop’s approach and capability to easily monitor any microservice and container set-up on any cloud makes it a top choice for many Kontena users. Highly customizable dashboards and alerts should seal the deal. Check Dataloop out here: https://www.dataloop.io
